Job Responsibilities and requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years hospitality industry experience in a self-directed leadership role
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Business Management and/or proven personal commitment to professional development an asset
  • Proven success with both people development in leadership positions and long-term sales growth
  • Proven ability to achieve results through others
  • Demonstrate ability to attract and retain excellent performers and to develop high performing teams
  • Leadership and communication: has a leadership style that is developmental vs. policing, promotes a culture of dialogue, role models values and practices of the company
  • Proven entrepreneurial spirit through having presence "in the factory" and in the community
  • Responsible for the profitability of the factory, with efficient and effective management of all points of sales, while maintaining service standard
  • Teaches, supervises and disciplines Crew as necessary for a smooth, efficient and professional standard
  • Maintains a friendly and fun manner with all Guests at all times
  • Ensures a high level of customer service and satisfaction at all times
  • Observes daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the restaurant, makes recommendations for corrections and improvements as necessary
  • Completes staff scheduling, allowing for appropriate service levels while controlling labour costs and overtime
  • Completes all necessary documentation associated with the revenues and labour
  • Completes and conducts staff performance reviews annually or as required
  • Maintains effective communications with all employees
  • Attends meetings, training activities, courses and other work related activities as required
  • Prepares and maintains annual operations budget, inclusive of labour and food cost.
  • Controls monthly financial statements, and takes action where necessary
  • Ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all Crew and Guests.
  • Demonstrates strong and effective communication with all departments
  • Other duties as may be assigned
